Loren Taylor Endorsed by the East Bay Times for Oakland City Council

The East Bay Times Joins Growing List of Progressive Leaders and Organizations Supporting Oakland Native's Campaign for District 6

(Oakland, CA) – Today, the East Bay Times endorsed non-profit and business leader and Oakland native Loren Taylor’s campaign for Oakland City Council District 6.

“The Loren Taylor, a biomedical engineer and management consultant with an MBA from UC Berkeley. He understands the magnitude of the city’s challenges and hopes to use his management skills to address them,” the East Bay Times wrote.  

“I am humbled to receive the endorsement of the East Bay Times," said Loren Taylor. "Our campaign is building real momentum for change in these final weeks before Election Day."

The East Bay Times joins a growing list of progressive leaders and organizations in endorsing Taylor's campaign, including Mayor Libby Schaaf, former Mayor Jean Quan, Vice Mayor Annie Campbell Washington, State Senator Nancy Skinner, the Wellstone Democratic Club, Bishop Bob Jackson of Acts Full Gospel Baptist Church, Pastor J.
